THE GENEVA INTERNATIONAL
CHRISTIAN CHOIR
ORCHESTRA
GICCO – The Geneva International Christian Choir and Orchestra is a non-profit cultural association based in Geneva.
Reflecting Geneva's cosmopolitan character, GICCO brings together musicians and singers from different countries in Europe and beyond to promote an authentic intercultural encounter through music.
Our ensemble brings together between 60 and 100 participants: an orchestra, a semi-professional adult choir and a children's choir.
The musical ensemble is led by Flavius Filip, whose vision is to encourage musical excellence among the participants.
Beyond its performances, GICCO is also committed to the musical education of adults and young people, thus contributing to the transmission and growth of a passion for music.
Each concert is conceived as a story told by voices, instruments and narrator. Our desire is to reach the audience far beyond listening, by revealing to them a message of peace and hope through music.
GICCO also aims to provide an opportunity for semi-experienced artists to participate in a professional project. The dialogue between children, young adults and experienced musicians creates a unique richness, with each person contributing their own sensitivity and talent.
Our association survives thanks to the commitment of volunteers and the support of donors.
