ABOUT US
THE GENEVA INTERNATIONAL
CHRISTIAN CHOIR
ORCHESTRA
GICCO – The Geneva International Christian Choir and Orchestra is a non-profit cultural association based in Geneva.
Reflecting Geneva's cosmopolitan character, GICCO brings together musicians and singers from diverse backgrounds – Romania, Switzerland, the United States, France and many other countries – to create a truly intercultural encounter through music.
Our ensemble brings together between 60 and 80 participants: an orchestra, a semi-professional adult choir and a children's choir. All share a high artistic standard and come together to offer concerts of rare intensity.
Under the direction of Flavius Filip, musical director and conductor, our concerts are distinguished by a resolutely modern vision that gives GICCO a unique and inspiring musical identity.
Beyond its performances, GICCO is also committed to the musical education of adults and young people, thus contributing to the transmission and growth of a passion for music.
Each concert is designed to be an immersive experience, where the power of voices and instruments is combined with varied repertoires, ranging from great classical works to contemporary creations. Our ambition is to touch the audience far beyond listening, offering them a moment of beauty, emotion and sharing.

GICCO also aims to be a bridge between cultures and generations. The dialogue between children, young adults and experienced musicians creates a richness that is truly unique. This spirit of transmission and cooperation makes our ensemble a place of artistic, human, and spiritual encounters.
Finally, through its projects, GICCO contributes to Geneva's cultural influence. The ensemble aims to represent the creativity and diversity of Geneva's music scene on an international level, carrying a message of unity and hope.
Our association survives thanks to the commitment of volunteers and the support of donors.
If our project inspires you, we would love to get in touch with you.
